Teaching assignment of 4 hours language classes per semester



Extent of Employment: 12 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B2 with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.



Job Description:
As lecturer you will mainly teach Japanese in English for graduate students of “East Asian Economy and Society”. We expect the successful candidate to continue their didactic development. Tasks: Teaching Japanese (4 hours / semester) – holding exams and supervising students – participating in evaluations.



Prerequisites for application and employment:
a) MA in the field of Japanese Studies,
b) Several years of teaching experience (Japanese in English) at institutions of post-secondary education. Expected expertise: Excellent knowledge of the Japanese present-day language (written and spoken).
